Minster Views Exhibition
The President of the York Civic Trust, Darrell Buttery, and fellow trustee, Sir Ron Cooke, have arranged an exhibition of pictures of York Minster drawn partly from public galleries, but mainly from, largely unseen, private collections.
What is surprising is that this topic has never been covered before in this way and the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to draw together over 100 works of art by artists of both local and national standing. This is a fund-raising activity and all proceeds will be part of our donation towards the cost of restoring the Minster East Window.
All proceeds will be donated to the Minster Appeal fund for the restoration of the East Window.
