Private Group Tours
Fairfax House offers a range of pre-booked tailor-made tours for groups.
Fairfax House offers special interest tours led by curators and outside experts. These include in-depth studies of English furniture, silver, clocks, Chinese ceramics and European paintings.
It is possible to accommodate 50 people on group tours, although the party will be split into smaller groups to enable members to examine individual items in greater detail.
Group visits can be arranged at any time outside normal opening hours. This includes evenings and any morning before 11am.

This introductory daytime tour takes in highlights of the Noel Terry collection and gives a fascinating overview of Fairfax House. Enjoy reduced admission rates and an informative private guided tour when you book a visit for 10 or more people. (Free flow option available.)
£4.50 per person.
Lasts approximately 1 hour. Minimum 10 people.
Evening Secrets Tour
Tour includes glass of wine or soft drink.
Experience the special atmosphere of Fairfax House when the museum has closed to the public. This tour will explore some of the secrets of the house and its superb collection.
£10.00 per person.
Lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Minimum 15 people.
Connoisseurs Tour
Tour includes glass of wine or soft drink.
For those with a particular interest or specialism within the world of fine arts and antiques, a bespoke tour can be tailored to meet your group’s interests and requirements. Whether horology or decorative arts, paintings or perhaps 18th century dining, an expert guide will use the superb Fairfax House collections to provide an informative and memorable tour.
£15.00 per person.
