Once more we are invited to join members of the York Consortium for Conservation and Craftsmanship for the concluding part of their AGM at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall.
The illustrated lecture by paintings conservator, Mark Roberts, promises to be a revelation! Mark has worked on many of the paintings in the York Art Gallery as well as those cleaned and conserved for us during the Mansion House restoration in 1998. He has an international reputation and restores highly important paintings for many of the great national institutions. Refreshments will be available in the Undercroft from 7.30pm where there will be a display of recent conservation work by members of the York Consortium.
