Living History Weekend at Fairfax House

This weekend, 15-16 August, the Georgian age really comes to life at Fairfax House courtesy of The Mannered Mob. These talented performers will be taking over the house for the weekend in the roles of eighteenth-century men and women, so when you walk into Fairfax House you will find its wonderful Georgian interiors inhabited by the Georgians themselves! From the workaday bustle of the Kitchen to the grandeur of the Saloon, you will experience the eighteenth-century world being brought to life by the inspired and authentic performers of The Mannered Mob, and get a sense of what it was like to be Living History Weekend: At Home with the Georgians.

Fairfax House is open from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday 15 August, and 11:00am until 4:00pm on Sunday 16 August. There is no additional charge for the Living History event: normal house admission charges apply.
