Absent-minded palaeontologist, Dr. David Huxley, is one bone away from completing his giant brontosaurus skeleton. That is until he has the misfortune to be bowled over by flighty heiress, Susan Vance, who along with her pet leopard, ruins his entire life. As Grant is drawn into the vortex surrounding the delicious Hepburn, a flirtatious pas de deux ensues full of mayhem and mix-ups in Howard Hawks’ quintessential screwball comedy, throwing love and conflict into close proximity.

Utterly brilliant – Grant and Hepburn are a match made in movie heaven.

“The love impulse in man,” says a psychiatrist in Bringing Up Baby, “frequently reveals itself in terms of conflict.” That’s for sure.
