In a mansion block in Knightsbridge, a gang of bored pensioners decide to brighten up ‘the dullness of the tea time of life’ by staging a series of daring fur robberies. Terry Thomas as a retired army officer successfully leads this unlikely trio of women on a series of capers marked by narrow escapes, wild coincidences and masses of improbably good fortune.
