Guided by expert Richard Carr-Archer, York architect specialising in churches, we will visit St Helen’s Church Escrick (built 1856–57), St Helen’s Church Skipwith (c.960-c.1300) and St Helen’s Church Wheldrake (mostly rebuilt 1778–79). Three very different buildings but each with fascinating stories.
