This year, discover A Christmouse Tail: The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, inspired by Aesop’s beloved fable. Tempted by stories of grand Christmas celebrations, curious country mice venture into the city to experience life in a magnificent Georgian townhouse for the first time.
Yet city life holds unexpected surprises, and perhaps a few dangers. Enticing luxuries lie ahead, huge feasts, fabulous fashion, tempting bargains at the Frost Fair and a lavish ball – will they be able to avoid temptation?
Follow the adventures of these rustic country cousins as they navigate the delights and surprises of Georgian city life. Hidden throughout the House are 400 bespoke mice, each dressed in a unique outfit lovingly hand-stitched by our volunteers. Keep your eyes peeled, can you spot them all?
