Led by our curator, Dr Sarah Burnage, this special tour of Fairfax House takes a closer look at the museum’s stunning collection. Discover objects, furnishings, and artworks, and the decisions that shape how they are interpreted and displayed today. This tour offers more time for close looking, discussion, and insight into both Georgian life and the ongoing work of caring for a historic house museum.
Dr Burnage will also explore our beautiful collection of Georgian fashion. A chance to see court dresses, costumes, and suits – items very rarely on display at Fairfax House.
